I bought a sonoff mini that I intend to use with the lights on the front porch, these lights are currently controlled by a countdown timer switch.
I want to be able to turn the lights on with Google home when away and also be able to do what I normally use the count down timer.
for example. I leave the house early when itis still dark outside, I just set the timer for 1 or 5 minutes. It also comes in handy when visitors are living the house at night, I can turn the outside lights from the timer for 5 minutes to let then get to their car.
This is the switch currently installed connection,
I am pretty handy with electric installations but this one got me thinking.
Can anyone please help me and show me how can I wire the timer with the sonoff mini?
Someone suggested a parallel connection,
Is this parallel circuit correct?
Am I not possibly getting double hot fed to the switches if both are closed at the same time?
