I have bought myself a "SONOFF iFan03: Wi-Fi Ceiling Fan And Light
Controller". The most important to me are the adjustable fan speeds. But
there is no noticable difference between 1, 2 and 3.
Has anyone experienced the same problem? And more important, is there a solution? Can anyone help?
I received an answer von Sonoff:
"The iFan03 is supporting 70-480W."
My fans: 25W.
That's why there is no noticable differense between 1, 2 and 3.
There was no noticable difference in speed between 1, 2 and 3. The working range is 70W - 480W. My fan is 25W.
Now I have connected 4 fans, so 100W, and 1 is really slow, which is great. 3 Is much faster than 1. Which is great as well. The strange thing is that 2 is as fast, or even slightly faster, than 3. How is this possible?
I was told now that the former explanation wasn't correct. This should be correct:
"For our ifan03, it supports 50W-80W, Joy misunderstood it.
So as your fan, it is 25W, so it will affect the speed, it is normal
For the ifan03:
In speed 1:
When powered, if 120V/60Hz, the max current is 113mA
When powered, if 220V/50Hz, the max current is 173mA
In speed 2:
When powered, if 120V/60Hz, the max current is 249mA
When powered, if 220V/50Hz, the max current is 456mA"
I tried it with 3 fans, so 75W, and the result was the same as with 4 fans, 100W.
Than I tried 2 fans, so 50W, and the result was the same as with 1 fan, 25W.
So the conclusion is that with 25W, 50W, 75W and 100W this iFan03 doesn't work as it is supposed to work. Too much money for what a simple Sonoff basic could do as well.
