Google Home Commands - only "Open" or "turn on" triggers momentary close

Hello, I just finished installing this module to my garage door opener. It seems to be only partially working with the Google home. I have the control wires directly soldered to the momentary push button for door open and/or close. Within the ewilink app everything functions as intended when you click 'open' it triggers a momentary closed-circuit and when you click 'close' it triggers the same momentary closed-circuit. Perfect.

Within Google home, when you say "open garage door" the verbal command triggers a momentary close position as intended, when you say "close garage door" the device does nothing. You need to say "open garage door" again to get the momentary closed-circuit command to get the door to close again. The only verbal command that triggers the momentary close position is "close garage door" or "turn the garage door on" the "off" commands do nothing. Why? Please help!

I want to say:

OkGoogle Open Garage Door =  <momentary close>

OkGoogle Close Garage Door =  <momentary close>

Right now:

OkGoogle Open Garage Door =  <momentary close>

OkGoogle Close Garage Door =  <NOTHING>
