Here is an idea for ITEAD and others to think about. I bought what is called a shorting cap that mounts where a photo control normally plugs into an outdoor light. This is one of the tall profile models.
I removed the shorting jumper, did a little metal work, plastic work, soldering, and hot gluing and mounted the PC board from a Sonoff Basic inside. With the switch wired to the line, neutral, and load I now have a WiFi controlled light.
Anyhow, it is just an idea I though worth mentioning. It would be easy to manufacture these things and installing them on the light is a breeze. To go back to regular photocell just swap it out.
