We need Sonoff to play nice with IFTTT to create applets!
This should number 1 on Sonoff's list of things to do it will expand their appeal greatly.
There is nobody out there making IFTTT compatible relays at the moment, except WeMo Maker, but this can't handle anything above 24V. : Sonoff seem to be in a good positon to change this! - please!! I have a swimming pool pump motor (220V) dying to be automated.
I've bought just one sonoff touch as a test device. It is working great except for the scenario integration with my other devices (LIFX, ...) into IFTTT. The day it supports IFTTT I will replace ALL my switches with those. For the moment I prefer to wait for them to implement the feature (or consider possible competitors) before buying anything.
Also an open API (like the one made available LIFX) would be more than welcome. History shows that all products with closed APIs die at some points while the others thrive. Choose your side.
eWeLnk now appears on IFTTT as a service. However, it does not specify exactly what kind of Sonoff device can be controlled. The choices are:
Turn 1 Channel Plug on or off
Turn 1 Channel Switch on or off
Turn 2 Channels Plug on or off
Turn 2 Channels Switch on or off
Turn 3 Channels Plug on or off
Turn 3 Channels Switch on or off
Turn 4 Channels Plug on or off
Turn 4 Channels Switch on or off
Not clear what these refer to.
When I try to save my IFTTT applet, I get error message "Your applet is invalid, see errors below"
But no listing of errors.
Working on it.

"must select a valid option" on which 1 channel switch? but NO OPTION is avaiable
pls this will be very nice if is working

It's really great that eWeLink is now working to integrate IFTTT so it can be used with Sonoff devices.
It is expected that there are some startup problems, but only that the work on it is beyond expectation.
Looking forward to it's going to work.
Greetings from a happy Sonoff user
Now it will be a good Christmas :-D
Very nice !
It doesn't work at all, as I get 'No options found' when I select - but it's a starting point

What a pleasant surprise to find that Google Home integration is now working with Sonoff devices. After linking eWeLink with Google Home, I can now perform these functions:
- turn on/off lights, coffee, tv/stereo, etc just by simple voice commands
- with Google Home's room function, I can say turn off Kitchen and the whole kitchen shuts down - lights, coffee, and other cookers obey in one command.
So the next step in home automation will be integration with IFTTT. With this, a whole new range of wondrous capabilities can happen:
- turn on/off lights, tv/stereo, heater/AC, etc. automatically when you go/leave home
- log device activities in Google spreadsheets for later analysis
- turn on heaters at home or in green room, etc. when weather reports say it's getting cold
- many-many more
Please Itead make this happen and your devices will be in greater use and demand.
