Sonoff is always offline

Hi Support Teams

I buy Sonoff products to sell in Viet Nam about 5 months ago

This time, I bought 30 pcs. I try to setup it but all is always offline. I try in iOS or android and different account, it still offline . I setup sonoff successfully many times before. I thinks error in hardware, service or sortware. I sent feedback in eWelink with email linhkiensonthuy@gmail.com.

Yes, I'm from Croatia and everything has been ok until today. Now is everything down. I hope they will resolve it until tomorrow...

Very bad product,not working for a day,always offline!!!!

 

The same here. Work only one day. Then offline 3 days in a row. Very bad.

Hello, I have a similar problem with a sonoff th16, the device is paired to APP but is offline.
checking connection on the router, device is trying to connect to server 52.28.157.61 at port 8081 that is not answering sync requests.

udp 88.12.9.142:4096      192.168.101.175:4096  8.8.8.8:53            8.8.8.8:53
tcp 88.xxx.xxx.xxx:18770     192.168.101.175:18770 52.28.157.61:8081     52.28.157.61:8081

 

THE SOLUTION IS:

 

Substitude IP address of eu-disp.coolkit.cc to 52.29.61.50

 

Right now for some reason current eu-disp.coolkit.cc IP doesn't accept connection to 8081 port, but the old one - does. You can check it by:

current:

telnet 52.28.157.61 8081


old:

telnet 52.29.61.50 8081


SOLUTION

Here is an example how to make a substitution in Mikrotik router:

Open Winbox

Get to "IP > DNS" menu

Click on "Static"

Click on "+" (add static DNS entry)


Name: eu-disp.coolkit.cc

Regexp: <leave empty>

Address: 52.29.61.50

TTL: <leave by default [1d 00:00:00]>


Click on "OK"

Close the DNS Static subwindow

Click on "Apply"


Profit! Now your POW is online!

Found Fix - Resolved
Had the same problem device not coming online.
1- hold button for 20+ seconds to reset to factory
2 - reboot your home router (this fixed the problem)
3 - setup and add your device from scratch - by logging in locally to the device, configuring you WiFi - CHECK that your WIFI Name and PASSWORD have no leading spaces.
Everything works fine now, good luck guys.

 

 The device drove me crazy, they work well - but TRY REBOOTING your routers and access points if you have them


after a few months of perfect functioning this morning all of my devices are now switched off offline-I reset all the routers, devices but nothing to do continue to stay offline. what should I do?

I think they upgrading their servers. You can only wait until is done.
